From Hellmarsh With Love is the sequel to King of the Jungle and the second novel in the Mike Holman series. It's a satirical look at current events both in America and Great Britain as governments increasingly fail to deliver on the promise of freedom and prosperity for their citizens.
PJ Holman is newly married to her famous husband Mike, a world-famous podcaster, journalist and web publisher, and after a fabulous destination wedding at the new jungle paradise of Liberty Point, the home of Mike's college roommate and multi-billionaire capitalist Pierce Polk, the couple are off to London for what they hope is a honeymoon for the books.
And it is, but not in a way PJ would have hoped for.
Because Great Britain is in turmoil as its citizens seethe over the rotten performance of both major parties on crime, immigration, economics and other issues — and the new left-wing government is only fueling the fire. Rioting in the streets is simply too much temptation for Mike not to dig in and perform acts of journalism he'd sworn off on his honeymoon — but in doing interviews and digging into the causes of the trouble on the streets, he makes powerful enemies.
